Baking powder experiment

I found that idea some time ago and I finally tried it Basically, you take some clay mix it with TLS, add some baking powder and then bake it as any clay creation. I have to admit I was sceptical about that idea. I couldn't believe that I'll get real spongy texture. But I tried anyway. I'm still not sure if I like it or not. It takes a lot of time, you have to bake it first then decorate and bake again. I think that I'm not patient enough xD But on the other hand it does look spongy :) What do you think? Is it worth repeating?
Some other news, I went to see 'Dear John' yesterday and I love it! If you haven't seen it yet you should definitely go. I love the story so much! It's a lot like 'The Notebook'. On my way back home I got the book so now I'll go to read some :)

Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!
I spent my day at home because of the snow. It was snowing so much last night that when I woke up I couldn't even see the street. Everything was covered with snow.
My winter holidays finally began! Now I have some more time for my clay creations. I made so many tarts and cupcakes today but I fell like I need some new ideas. I was thinking, maybe a preparation board? Little board with some fruit and a bowl of fruit salad. Or maybe one with cookies? It would make a great magnet. What do you think?

Sesame Street cuteness

Hi,

First of all, I'm soooo bad at blogging! Posting once a month if definitely not enough :P
But anyway, I'm tired of winter. It's been so cold lately! -25 degrees?! No one can stand such a weather for that long, especially me. I love sun and summer heat so much. And now I don't even remember what the sun looks like xD
Good side of this weather is that going out is almost impossible so I have a lot of time to be creative :)
This week was Sesame Street themed for me. I made Cookie Monster and Elmo cupcake earrings and pendants.






They are sooo cute! I've even made one for myself and I wear it all the time!
Tomorrow I'll tell you about my salmon cane which I made couple of weeks ago.

Foodie rings :)

Hi,

As I'm still sick and I stay home more than usual I can make some pretty things.
Yesterday I made some rings.

I really like this one. Breakfast theme has been on my mind for a while xD



I really love making polymer clay pizzas. They look so cute!



Now, I've run out of clay. And my delievery is somehow delayed so all I can do is wait...
I hope to get it tomorrow because I'd really like to try to make a salmon cane. It will be quite a big challenge but I have a good feeling about it :)

Creative Weekend

Hi,

Today would be a really nice day if I wasn't sick :( But still this morning I managed to take some photos of my latest creations xD
I've been trying to make hot dog earrings for quite a long time but somehow it was never the way I wanted it to be. But this time they turned out pretty well.



I love charm bracelets so I made my first one. With cupcakes ^^.



I also like stud earrings. I made some "open" sandwiches. I'm still waiting for my findings to arrive so I'd have to glue them on later :)



Oh, and Sampler Box will be avaliable on Wednesday January 20th :)

Cupcakes and ice cream

Hi,

How was your Christmas? Mine was ok but I like the atmosphere before Christmas more than the holiday itself :)
Since I had a break from school I had some time to make pretty things :)
I really love cupcakes (especially fake ones ^^) and when I started making them I just woke up few hours later and had so many of them around me :) They are soooo cute that I just couldn't stop :)





Also I've always wanted to make some ice cream earrings. And again, when the first one turned out quite good I just couldn't resist :)





I'll add some of these to my Etsy in January :)
